Those are some of my favorite ornaments, especially the blown glass acorn.

2. Believe me, that poem is one the easiest tasks I've had in the last few weeks! They just come to me, not often, but fast. And the rhyming actually worked, which surprised the heck out of me! :)

3. Yeah, it's becoming like a third appendage! I even had it on the kitchen counter while I was stirring fudge last evening. Probably not good for the carpal tunnel, I'm thinking.

4. I think my master plan is finally falling into place, and I'm feeling a little less stressed. Well, the fact is now I actually HAVE a plan when before I was just skittering all over the place. Where was Martha Stewart when I needed her?

5. Hallmark has nothing on you, my dear Deb; and what's most important, it comes from your heart. It's still amazing to me how one can become such good friends through the airwaves with someone you haven't even met face to face. But it has happened, and I am so very much happy that it has.

Merry Christmas!Susanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14201860227400017841noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4587634783902486718.post-15662999736633902482010-12-23T04:51:23.609-05:002010-12-23T04:51:23.609-05:00Hello, Bella! I think my elves decided to take an early retirement after they saw everything that needed to be done around here! :) They seem to have vanished and now I'm stuck with all the rest to do. Darn elves!

That header is actually one I recycled from last year, but I'm glad it was long enough that it seemed new and fresh to you. And Christmas seems to bring out the rhyming poet in me. Probably all those Christmas carols I've been hearing on the radio for the last month!

I'm so glad I don't have guests coming to stay...only the kids and grandkids will be here Christmas Eve for the usual food extravaganza and gift opening. Then, thank goodness, I get to send them home. :)

I hope you have a wonderful Christmas!Susanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14201860227400017841noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4587634783902486718.post-45654759777888493202010-12-23T04:39:05.798-05:002010-12-23T04:39:05.798-05:00Hi Molly! I promise I will be there as soon as the hustle and bustle is through for the year.

I actually did get into to the spirit once I started decorating the tree and being thankful that most of my treasured ornaments weren't destroyed in last year's fiasco. And I was only going to put up a few of my snowmen on the mantel, but when I started pulling them out of the boxes, they just wanted to be up there! So it does look very Christmas-y in my home.

I'm happy that you enjoyed the sage! I never thought of putting it into the gravy. I usually just use it in the dressing. I'll try that sometime.

Merry Christmas to you and yours!Susanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14201860227400017841noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4587634783902486718.post-67834155118637321002010-12-22T20:46:05.501-05:002010-12-22T20:46:05.501-05:001. I can see that the turkey might be ignored in favour of photo editing.

4. Don't sweat it, Susie dear. It's a day that'll just come around again and again. Do hope you can relax enough to actually enjoy yourself.

5. Merry Christmas, my wonderful blogbuddy - although you're more than that to me. A very small one...it's a 13-inch, but I don't think I could carry around one any bigger. So far, I'm liking it very much. I'm still learning about it's differences from a PC, and especially from a desktop. I've never used a laptop before, can you believe it? We chose Mac because of its reputation, and because everyone we've talked to who owns one wouldn't have anything else. I can't wait to learn how to use Garage Band...it's still a mystery, but I haven't had much time since we brought it home Saturday. I haven't tried out the photo editing that comes installed. If it's too difficult I'll probably continue to use Picasa and Photoscape.

If I don't talk to you before Christmas, have a lovely one!Susanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14201860227400017841noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4587634783902486718.post-35360879424101089032010-12-20T07:15:28.974-05:002010-12-20T07:15:28.974-05:00About time you returned!!!
